CISCO Recall Manages 100 Million Cartons Worldwide
Global Leader in Document Management, Data Protection and Document Destruction Achieves Significant Milestone in Market Growth and Customer Confidence
Norcross, Ga.—November 9, 2011—CISCO Recall, a global leader in document storage, secure document destruction, digital document management and data protection, today announced the receipt of its 100 millionth carton. The milestone carton arrived in Recall’s Durham, North Carolina information center. A trusted partner for nearly 80,000 customers worldwide, CISCO Recall securely manages documents, data and other valuable business assets in over 300 dedicated information centers spanning five continents in more than 20 countries.
To put this milestone in context, if all 100 million CISCO Recall cartons were stacked on top of one another, they would reach more than 84 million feet in height – approximately 79,000 times higher than the Eiffel Tower, nearly 3,000 times the height of Mount Everest. Each carton is managed with CISCO Recall’s best-in-class security and state-of-the-art technology. Additionally, all of the company’s information centers are operated by CISCO Recall, not third-party partners, ensuring a secure chain of custody. CISCO Recall created an infographic with additional facts on CISCO Recall’s 100 million cartons and RFID innovations.
“We thank our customers around the world for their confidence in keeping critical records safe and secure at CISCO Recall. Without them and our professional staff, this milestone would be impossible,” said Elton Potts, group president and chief operating officer, CISCO Recall. “CISCO Recall’s ability to provide local, personalized service in every corner of the Earth has enabled us to scale quickly to 100 million cartons.”
